Adelaide Metro

Case 01: Northern Suburbs

5batteries sold from AU$410 ad spend

  1. The list

Had 1,850 past customer records in the CRM, never touched. Fresh cold leads were costing AU$65 to AU$80 each.

  2. What we sent

Built around the federal rebate step-down, announced 5 weeks out.

A 24-hour automated SMS and form reply, to qualify enquiries at once so nothing went cold overnight.

  3. What happened

210 records suppressed, 1,640 reachable. 33 enquiries at AU$12.42 each, 14 site visits, 5 batteries sold.

Mount Barker

Case 02: Adelaide Hills

3batteries sold from AU$280 ad spend

  1. The list

Solar installed in 2015 to 2017 and never followed up. Many of those systems were reaching the end of a ten-year inverter warranty.

  2. What we sent

Timed to the end of the original ten-year inverter warranty on 2015–2017 installs, and to the rebate step-down.

A short quiz-style landing page (2 questions: system size, roof type) sorted enquiries by battery size fit before they reached the phone.

  3. What happened

95 records suppressed, 545 reachable. 19 enquiries at AU$14.73 each, 9 site visits, 3 batteries sold.

South Australia

Case 03: Southern Adelaide

6batteries sold from AU$520 ad spend

  1. The list

Heavy solar uptake here since 2016, but the CRM held 2,100+ old jobs and no retention campaign. Competing installers were already knocking.

  2. What we sent

The angle: your solar covers the day but not your evening peak bill. Paired with the rebate step-down date.

A video ad with the installer standing at a real job site in Christies Beach, plus a 24-hour SMS follow-up to lock in booking slots.

  3. What happened

340 records suppressed, 1,760 reachable. 41 enquiries at AU$12.68 each, 17 site visits, 6 batteries sold.

What we publish, and what we never will

What gets printed

  • List size, and how much of it was reachable after bounces and suppression.
  • How many records were suppressed, and why.
  • What was sent, and when.
  • Opens, clicks and form fills as counts, not only as rates.
  • Enquiries. Then site visits and jobs, but only the ones the installer confirmed, and said so.
  • Ad spend, and what it bought.
  • What we changed during the campaign and what happened after.

What never will

  • A percentage without the number underneath it.
  • A revenue figure we cannot trace to jobs the client confirmed were booked.
  • A result from a campaign somebody else ran.
  • Anything from a client who has not signed it off in writing.
  • An industry benchmark presented as something we achieved. Where a benchmark appears on this site it is labelled as one, and sourced.
